Buying an Electric Vehicle, What all things you need to know?India
Currently almost all automobile manufactures trying to launch electric vehicles in india.Hyundai already launched an electriv Suv Hyundai Kona.
Here are some things about Electriv Vehicles
Cheaper To run:
Running cost of electric vehicles are much cheaper than petrol/diesel vehicles.
Cheaper To Maintain:
Electric Vehicles have very very less parts than Petrol/Diesel vehicles.So it is very easy to maintain.Ev's have no expensive exhaust system,starter motors or fuel injection systems,
So it requires very less replacable products.So service cost is very less than petrol/diesel vehicles
Reduction In Car Cost:
Government Is giving more subsidies for electric vehicles.
Less Pollution:
EV's doesn't have harmful exhaust air.So it produce less pollution.
Low Sound:
Ev's doesnt have any sounds because of ite's electric motors.
Disadvantages:
Eventhough EV's have so many advantages it has some issues
Charging stations are less:
In india Charging stations are very less.Government trying to make more electric vehicles in every fule stations,But it will take some years.
Charging time is more:
If we charge ev's in a fast dc chargung stations it requires only 45 minutes to fully charge.But now we don't have any fast charging stations in india.
so it will take 6-8hr's to fully charge.
